Our Story

A group of students and bicycles advocates from UPR noticed that the surrounding area of the campus is under-utilized for its potential in having a bike-friendly facility. During vehicles congested times around Río Piedras, students within biking distance should help alleviate unnecessary carbon footprint and congested traffic.

After Hurricane, people sought the bikes to move with the difficult times. Roads were bad, long lines at the gas stations. A solution to emergencies took this opportunity to provide education and a solution for a small business to impact the community posivitively.
